Luke Del Castillo Campaign Launches “Bonfires, Board Games & Brews” Community Gathering Program
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
MOUNT PLEASANT, MI - Luke Del Castillo, candidate for State Representative in Michigan’s 92nd House District, has launched Bonfires, Board Games & Brews, a new community-centered program designed to bring neighbors together for real conversations in relaxed, welcoming spaces.
The program invites residents, local businesses, breweries, board game shops, libraries, community organizations, and supporters across the district to host casual gatherings where people can meet Luke, ask questions, talk about the issues that matter, and get involved in the campaign.
“Campaigns are built one conversation at a time,” said Luke Del Castillo. “Not everyone wants to go to a formal political event, and that is okay. Sometimes the best conversations happen around a bonfire, over a board game, or at a local coffee shop or brewery. This program is about making space for neighbors to connect, be heard, and help build something stronger together.”
Through the program, hosts can choose the type of gathering that works best for them:
Bonfires offer a relaxed backyard setting where friends, family, and neighbors can gather, meet Luke, and talk about what their communities need.
Board Game Nights give local businesses, board game shops, libraries, and community groups a low-pressure way to bring people together for connection, conversation, and fun.
Brews Gatherings create opportunities to meet at local breweries, coffee shops, restaurants, or community spaces while supporting small businesses and encouraging civic engagement.
The campaign will help hosts with invitations, campaign materials, event promotion when appropriate, and scheduling Luke to attend when possible.
“You do not need to be a political expert to host,” Del Castillo said. “You just need to be willing to bring people together. That is how trust is built. That is how communities grow stronger. And that is how people-powered campaigns win.”
Residents, businesses, and organizations interested in hosting can learn more and sign up at ivoteluke.com/bbb.
There is work to do, and the future we deserve will not build itself. It will take neighbors showing up for neighbors.
