Community.  Service.  Action.

My campaign is built on three values: Community, Service, and Action. I believe strong communities are built by leaders who show up, listen, serve with humility, and turn people’s concerns into real solutions.

I’m running for State Representative because I believe leadership starts with listening - but it cannot end there.

The people of Michigan’s 92nd House District deserve a representative who shows up, listens to working families, supports small businesses, respects local communities, and turns real concerns into real action.

I’ve spent my career bringing people together - through economic development, community events, small business support, and the arts. I know that strong communities are not built from the top down. They are built by neighbors, workers, families, entrepreneurs, educators, farmers, and local leaders who care enough to keep showing up.

This campaign is about building a future where people can afford to live, work, raise a family, start a business, and stay rooted in the communities they love.

Together, we can fight for good jobs, strong schools, skilled trades, vibrant downtowns, affordable communities, and a government that works for people - not politics.

Let’s build something better - together.

It starts with Community.

meet Luke

Luke Del Castillo is a community builder, nonprofit leader, filmmaker, and candidate for State Representative in Michigan’s 92nd House District.

Luke has spent his career helping people bring ideas to life - whether supporting small businesses, strengthening downtowns, creating opportunities for artists, or building connections across local communities. As the former Director of Place-Based Businesses at the Middle Michigan Development Corporation, Luke worked closely with entrepreneurs, local leaders, and community partners to support rural downtowns and small businesses across the region.

He also serves as President of the Royal Starr Arts Institute, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting Michigan’s film and arts community, and serves on the board of the Broadway Theatre in Mount Pleasant. Through this work, Luke has seen how creativity, small businesses, strong local partnerships, and community pride can help places grow and thrive.

Luke is running because he believes Lansing needs leaders who listen, show up, and turn community concerns into real action. His campaign is focused on making life more affordable, supporting working families, strengthening local economies, expanding access to childcare, investing in skilled trades and education, and making sure rural communities are not left behind.

At his core, Luke believes public service is about people. It is about meeting neighbors where they are, understanding what they are going through, and fighting for practical solutions that help families, workers, small businesses, and communities build a better future.
